End Grain Cutting Boards
- Handcrafted in Missouri
Built to last, our end grain cutting boards are made for those who value both beauty and function.
The vertical wood fibers absorb the impact of your knife, helping the board “self-heal” from cuts while naturally resisting bacteria. It’s a healthier, longer-lasting choice compared to synthetic boards.
Each board is crafted from solid walnut or maple, sanded smooth, and finished with a food-safe oil and wax that highlights the natural character of the wood. Four solid brass feet keep it elevated off the counter, adding stability, airflow, and a subtle detail that sets it apart.
Both practical and beautiful, it’s a piece you won’t want to hide away in a cabinet.
*While our end grain boards are built to last, we don’t recommend using them for strong aromatics like onions or garlic—the fibers can hold on to those flavors. If you’re often chopping those ingredients, we suggest one of our edge grain boards as the perfect everyday companion.
*Because we work with natural hardwoods, no two pieces are exactly alike—each one is truly one of a kind.
Small: 10" x 13"

Our boards are finished with Walrus Oil & Wax, a food-safe blend that nourishes the wood, highlights the natural grain, and provides lasting protection.

Your end grain cutting board is made to last a lifetime, and we want to help it stay beautiful. Each board comes with one complimentary refinishing, including sanding, oiling, and waxing. After that, you’ll receive a lifetime discount for future refinishing, so your board can continue to look and perform like new for years to come.
It’s an easy, natural way to keep your board healthy, functional, and full of character — just as we intended when we first crafted it.
- To keep your board looking and performing its best, avoid leaving it soaking or sitting in water. Prolonged exposure can cause the wood to warp or crack.
- After use, simply wash your board by hand with warm, soapy water and dry it promptly with a towel.
- For deeper cleaning, you can occasionally wipe it down with a mixture of coarse salt and lemon to freshen and deodorize naturally.
- If the wood starts to look dry or dull, revive it with mineral oil or a natural cutting board oil. Apply a thin, even coat and let it soak in overnight before wiping off any excess.
- Avoid putting your cutting board in the dishwasher — the heat and moisture will damage the wood permanently.
- With proper care, your board will last for years to come.
